This is an original modern pitch Rudall Carte piccolo from 1913. The wood is very good and the mechanism quick and easy under the fingers. It comes with a very responsive silver headjoint with wooden barrel.

We have tightened the mechanism, and the piccolo has been given a full repad and set up by Jennifer George who, being a professional piccolo player as well as an excellent repairer, knows the secrets of these mysterious instruments.

As you would expect, the piccolo plays easily. It comes in a modern case.
