Kingwood brings a middle way between Grenadilla and boxwood. It has warmth and power, but a slight softness that is entrancing. The S3 cut retains enough resistance to draw out the player, who is able to develop a unique relationship with the headjoint.

The headjoint is supplied in a bespoke mahogony box by Chris Raven.
