This is a very nice Bonneville that is in excellent playing order. The body and foot are unmolested and original. Toneholes are complete and intact - not always the case. There is some wear to the plating where the right thumb sits, as is normal, and a little at the point where LH1 touches the body. We repadded the flute recently, so the pads are in excellent order and work perfectly.

The lip-plate is original and in excellent condition. We believe that the headjoint has been shortened by 2.3mm, less than usual but enough to bring the pitch up, so that modern pitch A=440 is comfortable, and intonation is good.

For the past few years the flute has been owned and played by a professional flautist who has found it very usable. It comes in its original case, which has lost its outer leather covering - a straightforward job for Chris Raven.
