Laube |

French |
£595 | |||
|
A French flute marked Au Diapason 102
Rue de Rennes. Probably made 1900-14 by the Couesnon factory for a
Parisian shop that seems to have sold various musical instruments. In-line,
open hole, nickel keywork. Plays at modern pitch with a nice lyrical and typically
French sound.
This flute was overhauled and repadded by us two years ago and has not seen a lot of use since - just enough to play in the pads. Very good condition, with keywork that is crisp and responsive. This is a well-made flute that is fun to play and would be a relatively cheap introduction to the French flute experience. Comes in a modern case. |
