FLUTE AND PICCOLO Service and Repair  

An inexpensive annual check over will set up the keywork, sort out minor problems, and keep your flute working to its optimum.

A service every 2-3 years, disassembling, cleaning, and rectifying faults, will keep your flute or piccolo in good playing order. 

After 5-15 years, an overhaul will see your flute or piccolo taken apart so that every component can be cleaned and checked for wear and damage. New pads, felts and corks are then fitted to return your flute to its optimum 'as-new' playing condition.

Overhaul

The minimum prices quoted are for flutes and piccolos in good condition that have been regularly serviced. Instruments in poor condition and those that have not been serviced for many years will naturally require more work. Specific repairs (soldering; restoring bent keywork; etc.) will be charged at an hourly rate of £30.00.

Overhauled and serviced flutes and piccolos come with 6-months' free maintenance. This allows for any adjustments necessary due to natural settling and gives you complete peace-of-mind.
